WV Needs a Hip Hop Presence

Ok, I have had enough of certain "entertainers" and "hip hop artists" that are trying to represent WV. First, this state does not have a presence at all in hip hop or really any music other than country, but to see performers saying they are running the state it's just plain funny. Ray-P and D Why are the only legit performers in the entire state, and even they aren't know in the state like they should be. In 5 years of DJing and traveling around I have no found two better artists from this state.

I watched a video today on YouTube of a girl from WV rapping about her town she's from and how she's now living the industry life. Are you serious? Really? I'm pretty sure you don't really know anything about it.

I say this knowing I also come from a small town in WV but at least I know where I stand with the music and "what I'm repping." The people you have backing you aren't exactly the right crowd to get noticed in music either so if you are serious about trying to live the industry life, I would see if you can get in with some real artists.

It's time for Ray-P and D Why to get some spins and respect. Maybe the state would finally get noticed if we let the real artist get a chance to put on a show or make a video.

OK. With that said look for some serious mixtape projects coming up featuring DJ Wise, DJ X Factor, DJ Ames and Box Kev may host a mix tape for me. That's it for tonight I'll record a set tomorrow after I get off work.
